Why Women Are Vulnerable To Bacteria During Menstruation

Excitement in Cerebral cortex has decreased due to endocrine effects. Immunity is therefore reduced, causing easy infection and expose to diseases.

Dilution of vagina acidity during menstruation is unfavourable to kill bacteria. In addition, nutrition in blood is promoting the growth of microbes.

The opened cervix during menstruation is inviting bacteria from menstrual bloods to flow back to uterus.

The peeling of menstrual endometrium may form some wound which will prone to infection.
